COMPOSITION
1 ml of product contains: active ingredient: Flunixin meglumine equivalent to 50 mg fl unixin. Excipients a.s.t. 1 ml. Flunixin meglumine is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug with anti-pyretic and analgesic properties. It acts by interfering with the arachidonic acid pathway of prostaglandin synthesis since prostaglandine are considered responsible for the development of the infl ammatory process.

INDICATIONS AND POSOLOGY
alone or as co-adjuvant in the following therapies:
Bovine: acute inflammation associated with respiratory disease: 2 ml/45 kg b.w. (equivalent to 2.2 mg/kg b.w.) single administration. Fever syndrome: 2 ml/45 kg b.w. (equivalent to 2,2 mg/kg b.w.) single administration. Pain control: 2 ml/45 kg b.w. (equivalent to 2,2 mg/kg b.w.) the treatment can be repeated after 12 hour interval.
Horses: Musculo-skeletal disorders: 1 ml/45 kg b.w. (equivalent to 1,1 mg/kg b.w.) once a day for up to 5 consecutive days. Colic: 1 ml/45 kg b.w. (equivalent to 1,1 mg/kg b.w.) once or twice
ADMINISTRATION
Wash the area accurately and inject preferably intravenously in bovine. In equine administer intravenously or deep intramuscularly.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Avoid intra-arterial injection, do not mix other drugs in the same syringe. Safety studies in pregnant mares and sows have not been conducted thus the use in pregnancy and lactation is subject to the Veterinary’s favourable evaluation of the risk/benefit ratio. In bovine and in laboratory animals no detrimental effects were noticed.
UNDESIRED EFFECTS
Following intramuscularly injection a local reaction may occur at the injection site. Should other undesired effects be noticed, please inform the Veterinary.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Bovine: meat and offal 7 days, milk 24 hours.
Equine: meat and offal 7 days.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store at temperature not exceeding (30° C). & after opening used for 4 weeks Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use beyond the expiring date shown on the packaging.
